How the EV finder works
- How does the EV finder work?
- You answer six quick questions — budget, how you charge, how you drive, how much space you need, winter conditions and what matters most to you. EVRadar then ranks real cars from its catalogue against your answers and returns your top matches.
- How long does it take and do I need an account?
- About a minute, and no account is needed. Nothing you enter is stored on our servers — the result is computed from your answers there and then.
- What are the recommendations based on?
- The same transparent EVRadar score used across the site: real-world range, charging speed, battery, price and body type, weighted by the priorities you choose. Each match comes with plain-language reasons for why it made your shortlist.
- Can I refine the answers or compare the matches?
- Yes. You can change any answer and re-run it, open any recommended car for the full data sheet, or send several matches to the side-by-side comparison view.
- Is the finder biased towards particular brands?
- No. There is no sponsored placement — cars are ranked purely on their measured data against your answers, so a small or less-known model can outrank a popular one.
