Our apartment block is finally discussing chargers. Installer proposed 8 wallboxes with dynamic load sharing from a 63 A three-phase supply.
What should we ask before approving? We have 74 flats and probably 9 EV/PHEV owners already.
Ask about billing first. Who measures kWh, who invoices residents, and how VAT/tariff changes are handled? Hardware is easier than apartment accounting.
Also ask whether the system can add more chargers later without replacing the controller. Eight sounds fine now, but once the first residents prove it works, demand will jump.
Thanks. I added billing, expansion and RFID/app access to the questions. The installer mentioned OCPP, but I want that written into the offer.
